Tribal West African Bambara headdress in carved wood. The piece depicts an antelope with offspring, referred to as "Chiwara," for a mythical antelope. The body with incised decoration and leather with animal hair tipped horns, mounted to a wood base. In great vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and use.
